Rhode Island is one of the most developed states in the country and our
last unprotected every month we lose more of our last remaining farms,
forests and meadows to development. These special places should be
saved for future generations, but without new open space bond funding
in 2008 the popular programs that expand parks, preserve forests, and
protect farms will run out of money. Please ask Gov. Carcieri to
