Letter	Dear Legislator, Global Warming threatens Rhode Island's environment, economy, and infrastructure. Our over 400 miles of coastline lie vulnerable to increased beach erosion and sea level rise, which is already being observed, and our state is set to see increased flooding from more intense storms to come. Rhode Island has the responsibility to reduce its contribution to the degradation of our environment as well as the threat to our state's native species. In addition, economists have said that inaction on global warming will prove to be more expensive than preventative measures. Rhode Island is at the front of this problem, and it's time we were at the front of the solution! Please vote in favor of the Global Warming Solutions Act (HB 7884 & SB 2629) to reduce our global warming pollution 20% by 2020 and 80% by 2050! Sincerely,
